Penney and Tom conquer Yosemite Falls - "Heroes welcome" at summit

A 2700 foot ascent to the top of Yosemite Falls over 3.4 miles of trails did not deter the courageous team of Penney Richardson and Tom Cirillo today. 

At the halfway mark, Ms. Richardson was overheard by fellow hikers questioning the wisdom of the journey. "Who's ridiculous idea was this? Idiot!" she muttered.  Characteristically resolute, though, the team moved on.

Almost six hours later, back at the Ahwanhee, and enjoying deeply hydrating Absolute martini's, they planned their next challange: the hot tub at the Tanaya Lodge.
