VIR test day 04.24.02

First time at VIR.  Wow, what a great facility and beautiful track.  Very challenging, with 17 turns over 3.24 miles, with lots of elevation change. 

Racers Edge rented the track for 3 Formula Mazda's and 3 Spec Racers to test. 

There is a section of track called the climbing esses, culminating in a sweeping left hander followed by a hairpin (Oak Tree).  Check this out.  It's twenty six seconds leading up to an interesting ending.

Turn up your volume!!  It's no fun w/o sound.

[ The Usual Caveats:  Although I have recently re-rendered this streaming video in a multi-bitrate format (so that there is a 56K stream and RealPlayer will adjust based upon your connection), it really needs a broadband connection for any decent quality.

You will need RealPlayer.  Don't try it behind a firewall.  I haven't tried it with AOL but since AOL is junk, it probably will be a problem (just tried it; forget it - launches AOL Media Player, which AOL says supports Real Media, but not on my machine!).
