The
4 day ( 10.11.00) Bondurant racing school experience was nothing short of fantastic.

great skidpad work with computer controlled hydraulics that can dynamically
lighten the front, back or both ends of the car (unknown to the driver,
instructor contolled),
.
personally assigned MustangGT’s,
.
eleven turn 1.1 mile track
w/optional extended section,
.
1.5 days in Formula Fords; an experience unlike I’ve ever had.
You are poured into it. you
can see perhaps 20degress through your helmet slit.
You are inches from the ground and engine.
Your legs are straight and you are all but lying down.
The sensation of speed is enormous. And, do they handle!

the Race!! I didn’t know that
there would be a live race. I
held 1st (field of 12) for ˝ of it.
A faster guy got by cleanly. All
I had to do was hold my line till the end.
On turn 11 (last turn of the race), I went in too hot and slid off the
track – made a spectacular recovery – and finished third!
Great for the spectators.

Anyway, I will now get my SCCA Regional License. To the races….
