FCA LRP 08.03.02
Actually a three day event, hosted by Miller Motorcars. The first two days were track days and the third a ralley. I brought the 355 Challenge car, supported by J.T. Mase Motorsports, and had the opportunity to drive it for the second time. What a complete blast!
The car ran flawlessly, and my times improved throughout the two days culminating in a personal best at LRP of 1:00:6. Of course, at that point the track was deteriorating as was I so i quit with a feeling of pride and satisfaction with the new car. It is strong, handles well, and is real fun to drive.
There were about 90 Ferrari's (as well as other marques: 4 trucks, 2 suburu wrx's, many porsche's) at this event. Actually quite crowded at a track the size of LRP. The event was well organized and executed and everyone seemed to be having a good time. The weather cooperated, by and large, with the exception of a major rain/hail storm in the afternoon on friday.
I counted 16 355 Challenge cars here! One mechanic said "there are more 355 C cars here than in the Challenge series!". Here are their pictures; hope i didn't miss any - pics here.
